Introduction

Hello! My name is Syria Orizaba and I am a second-year MPH student at USF. I have a BA in anthropology from UCLA with a minor in Chicano/a studies. After graduating I spent two years working in homeless services as a housing navigator. I hope to one day have my own nonprofit working with the homeless population and reentry population. I live here in the city and I'm particularly interested in pollution caused by the everyday household items we all use, and the environmentally friendly products that can be used instead.

    Hi Syria,

It is great to meet people who are working for vulnerable groups and key populations. As you go through the class, your interest in pollution caused by the everyday household items will be discussed. Don’t hesitate to share your personal experiences about pollution, particularly in your community. We look forward to reading your blogs.

    Best,
    Igor
